Pope Francis on Monday called for reconciliation during the war and controversy as the Easter celebrations approached.

“Let quarrels, wars and quarrels lead to understanding and reconciliation,” the head of the Catholic Church said in a speech on Monday in St. Peter’s Square in Rome after the prayer to the Virgin Mary, “Regina Caeli” (“Queen of Heaven”).
