More Ultra Beasts are coming to Pokemon Go at the Test Yourself event, with Celesteela and Kartana falling several days before the actual event. This gives players a few days to battle these giants before they disappear. Alongside these two Ultra Beasts will be mega raids with Mega Aggron, as well as several Steel-type Pokémon appearing in the wild.
Celesteela y katana have already begun to appear all over the world. Celesteela will appear in five-star raids in the southern hemisphere and Kartana will appear in five-star raids in the northern hemisphere. You won’t find them outside of these regions.
However, the first series of Ultra Beasts, Xurkitree, Buzzwole, and Pheromosa, originally appeared in specific Pokémon Go Fest events that were region-specific and later became available during the Pokémon Season of Go final event, the Go Fest: The final. . Fortunately, Celesteela and Kartana follow a similar pattern and become available to everyone in a subsequent event of the current season, the Season of Light.
Along with these Ultra Beasts, Mega Aggron will appear in Mega Raids around the world during the Test Yourself event. Completing them gives you energy to Mega Evolve your Aggron, using it in other PvE raids. It can be useful against Celesteela and Kartana as long as they are available.
Various Steel-type Pokémon will be available during the event, such as Togedemaur in its debut, along with Alola Sandshrew, Drilbur, Ferroseed, Togedemaur, Galarian Stunfisk, Skarmory, Bronzor, Magnemite, and others. They will appear in the wild in small raids, and some can even be rewarded as field research encounters.
The Test Your Courage event starts on September 16th and runs until September 21st. If you are facing a five-star raid right now, check if there is an Ultra Wormhole available for a chance to fight Celesteela or Kartana.
