The pension to working pensioners is paid in full, without the 30% penalty, while failure to declare results in a penalty equal to 12 monthly pensions, main and auxiliary.
“We estimate that 100,000 pensioners are working. Of these, 36,000 declare it. We must help these people, they have paid their pension,” said the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Domna Michailidou, speaking to SKAI yesterday. As the minister said, in this way the pensioners will be able to save from 140 to 300 euros per month.
In view of the new increase in the minimum wage, Mrs. Michailidou reminded that this is the fourth consecutive increase and noted that the minimum wage will start from 8. “The bet is to have good wages” she commented.
