With the support of the municipality, which has “never failed”, the members of the association “proudly take up the challenge” of perpetuating and bringing to life the maritime heritage of the Landes, of which the pinnace Estelle de la Ma is one of the jewels.

Built in 1955

The boat was built in 1955 by the Pradère shipyards in Gujan-Mestras (Gironde). Her vocation was seine fishing on the coast of Contis until her decommissioning in 1985. Bought by Vincent Froustey and restored by the association which keeps the tradition afloat, Estelle de la Ma II is ready for a new season.
