• The European Stoxx 600 Index was down 0.6% at close of trading.
• The UK FTSE 100 is up 0.2% at the end of trading.
• The German DAX Index is down 0.4% at the end.
• The French CAC index fell sharply and was the most bearish of European stocks by 0.9%.
• The Italian MIB index recorded a loss of 0.4% by the close of the European session.
• The Spanish IBEX index is flat.

It should be noted that most European stock indices recorded substantial losses at the end of trading on Wednesday, coinciding with concerns about the continued tightening of monetary policy by the US Federal Reserve in the coming period to control high inflation rates.
