Bogor (ANTARA) – The number of COVID-19 positive patients in Bogor City recovered by Sunday reached 110 people or 61.11 percent of the 180 residents reported to have been infected with this deadly virus since March, said Head of the Bogor City Health Office Sri Nowo Retno.
“The cure rate of positive patients continues to increase and now the percentage is far higher than the number of positive patients who are still being treated,” he said in Bogor, Sunday (6/28).
On Thursday (25/6), there were 11 positive COVID-19 patients who recovered or were the highest during the treatment of corona virus cases in Bogor City. “This is encouraging news related to the handling of positive cases of COVID-19 in the city of Bogor,” he said.
Retno further said that the encouraging trend in handling COVID-19 cases in the popular tourist city with its botanical gardens and presidential palace was also seen in the decline in the number of positive patients still being treated.
According to him, there are currently 53 COVID-19 positive patients being treated. The number of people in monitoring (ODP) recorded 105 people or reduced by seven people on Sunday.
Bogor City Government continues to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19 more effectively by forming the COVID-19 Detective Force (active detection) last week.
“Detective forces divided into two teams are tasked with tracking and monitoring the spread of COVID-19,” he said.
The COVID-19 Detective Force has been actively working in all areas in Bogor City starting from the sub-district level, to the sub-district level, to the neighborhood, he said.
