The reason is a planned repair
From tomorrow until the end of October, RIA closes for traffic one of the busiest roads in the country – the Pass of the Republic. The reason is a planned repair of the northern slope.
Nearly 22 km of the section Kilifarevo – Predela, in the district of Veliko Tarnovo, will be repaired. The aim is to increase traffic safety and prepare for the upcoming winter season.
Renovation closes the Pass of the Republic for nearly a month
The cars will pass through the Shipka pass, and the trucks will be redirected on the road Shumen – Karnobat (pass “Rishki”) and the road Omurtag – Kotel (pass “Kotlenski”).
