The participation of Shall we dance changed her life

Saturday’s broadcast of Skal vi danse: all the stars it was studded with stars when the remaining participants were allowed to join a former participant each, in the “all-star” night of the season.

The artist Atle Pettersen (33) had the joy of dancingand together with fitness influencer Jørgine Massa Vasstrand (33) and professional dancer Santino Mirenna (28), for roared a salsa judge.

When TV 2 met the artist after Saturday’s broadcast, he remained in close contact with his wife, Cathrine Eide (32), and his former dance partner, Marianne Sandaker (34).

Now they reveal how the 11-year relationship began, already during its winning season.

Several hours in the dance studio

Pettersen spent many hours in the dance studio to reach the top in 2011. Despite having only appeared in one show this season, he was still used many hours at the dance center to prepare for this year’s all-star broadcast.

Hours spent in the dance studio performed on the dance floor, when he performed in a spectacular elevator with Vasstrand and Mirenna.

– I was told it would be in a broadcast. Naive as I am, I thought it was just a matter of showing up on a Saturday, but it wasn’t like that at all, Eide says and continues:

– It’s been over this week here, but I see how much you enjoyed it, so it was probably worth it.

Eide and Sandaker sat in the stands and watched the insane stunt:

– This is my loyal fan club, says Pettersen.

He wrote the winning interview in 2011

And Pettersen and Sandaker walked away with the win in 2011or Eide wrote the winning interview for TV 2. Today she is married and have kids with Pettersen.

– Bring back good memories, Eide says he is back in the dance circus and continues:

Eide says that at that time there were many butterflies in the stomach, and it was uncertain what time would bring.

– It’s really fun to be here eleven years later and to have gained best friends and a husband, Eide smiles and looks at Sandaker and Pettersen.

– Did you think it would change your life?

– No, not the way it did. That’s the great thing about life and programs like this: you never know which way it’s going to change. So it was very nice, Pettersen replies.

Cathrine Eide was hired by TV 2 as a journalist from 2011 to 2018.
