The responsible authorities have published the situation of anti-COVID immunization valid in Romania in the last 24 hours.
According to the report, 9,555 people were immunized against COVID with the first dose of the vaccine. Half opted for Pfizer and the other half for Johnson & Johnson.
Another 9,555 people received the second dose of the vaccine, bringing the total to 11,013 people immunized in the last 24 hours.
The figures are on average in recent months, the total number of Romanians vaccinated with the full scheme being 5,327,522, which represents less than 30% of the population.
During this time, the daily number of deaths remains above 100, and over 1,200 people are hospitalized at ATI. Only 10 intensive care beds for COVID patients are available nationwide.
