The OnePlus 9 series will be equipped with a Sony IMX789 sensor

OnePlus will launch its next generation flagship smartphone, OnePlus 9 Series, worldwide on March 23. With a release that is only a few days away, OnePlus has revealed a number of features that will be embedded in the smartphone.

In the latest development, it was revealed that the OnePlus 9 Series smartphones will come with a Sony IMX789 sensor specially designed for the OP9 series and Hasolbot cameras. From the teaser poster with OnePlus confirming 4K video recording at 120fps.

Previously, a promotional video about this new Sony sensor also appeared on the internet. It has been confirmed that the sensor supports real-time HDR video processing. It also states that the sensor has 12-bit RAW support for photography.

Meanwhile, Hazelpot’s support for the OnePlus 9 series is said to share its technology to capture lasting color. The sensor has a 16:11 aspect ratio, which allows for 4: 3 photos and 16: 9 video recording.

Previously, OnePlus also revealed that the next-generation flagship smartphone will come with a panoramic camera capable of D lens technology with an FOV of 140 degrees. Not to forget, there is a free lens.

It is estimated that the OnePlus 9 Pro will be equipped with a 48MP + 50MP + 8MP + 2MP quad camera system. Whereas the standard variant comes with a triple camera setup on the back, where is the 48MP main camera, and the 16MP one with the front camera.

As for the other glasses, the OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display, while the OnePlus 9 might have a 6.55-inch flat AMOLED screen. Both smartphones are said to come with general specifications such as 120Hz update speed and Snapdragon 888.

Both the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 will be equipped with the same capacity battery, which is 4,500 mAh. However, the Vanilla variant is expected to have 65W fast charging, while the Pro variant is expected to come with 45W wireless charging.
