The official tug-of-war competition of the Second National Games of Changsha County in 2023 was successfully held – Red Net

On the morning of November 24, the “Yuedong Xingsha” 2023 Changsha County Second National Games official tug-of-war competition was staged at the Xingsha Cultural Plaza. Nearly 300 “strong men” from 17 teams across the county participated.

The competition is hosted by the Changsha County Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau and is divided into two categories: county agencies and towns (streets). In the first stage of the group stage, an elimination system will be implemented, and the outcome will be determined by one game. In the second stage of the finals, a best-of-three-game system will be adopted.

The competition scene was full of climaxes and excitement, and the fierce competition atmosphere became stronger and stronger every time. “One two, one two…” The coach and team leader also tried their best to shout slogans for the players. The scene attracted many residents to come and watch, with cheers and applause coming one after another. In the end, the county education bureau team won the championship in the county-level agency group, and the Ansha Town team won the town (street) group championship.

Chen Yuan, coach of the County Education Bureau representative team, said that all the contestants of the team were selected through competitions. “For this competition, the team members all learned the tug-of-war skills and trained for about a week.
