The number of tourists in Liepaja has increased by 59%

The number of foreign guests increased 3.8 times (2,944 persons) and the number of nights spent increased 2.5 times (5,940 nights). The length of stay of foreign tourists in Liepāja accommodation in the first three months of this year was about two nights.

In the first quarter of this year, guests from 52 foreign countries spent the night in Liepaja. The most windy city visited by tourists from Lithuania (803 overnight stays; an increase of almost 11 times) followed Estonia (373; an increase of 5.6 times), Denmark (201; +8.7 times) Germany (193; +2.6 times) Great Britain (156; +10,4 %), Russia (145; +43,6%); Ukraine (107; +2.4 times) and Poland (106; +39,5%).
