Same trend in hospitals, with 8,821 visits to the emergency room against 5,514 the previous week (+ 56%).

While attention is focused on the new coronavirus from China, 26 people have died in France from seasonal flu since November, the health agency said in its weekly figures. They are three children under the age of 15, 12 people aged 15 to 64 and 11 others aged 65 and over, she said.
