The number of people killed in a Russian missile strike that destroyed the Mykolaiv Oblast administration building on Tuesday has risen to 20.
19 corpses were found in the ruins of the building, another person died in resuscitation.
A nine-storey building of the district administration in Mykolaiv was damaged during the shooting on Tuesday morning at around 8.45. The central section of the building from the ninth to the first floor has collapsed, but the fire has not started.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the Russian attack in a video speech to the Danish parliament on Tuesday.
“The people of Mykolaiv did not pose any threat to Russia. Despite all this, they, like all Ukrainians, became the target of the Russian army, “said Zelensky.
