Willemstad – The number of corona infections in Aruba continues to rise. Ten infections were registered on Monday and Tuesday. 39 cases were added yesterday. Experts fear that many more people have already been infected.
Most of the new infections involve people aged 39 or younger. These people are not hospitalized.
Care and retirement homes may no longer receive visitors immediately and bars and night clubs on the island may no longer be open for the time being.
Bonaire, like Curaçao, has halted direct air traffic between the two countries.
