Acer today announced the Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) laptop, with an updated design geared towards dynamic professionals who need high performance, portability, and enhanced levels of productivity from their devices. The lightweight computer ensures outstanding performance and superior viewing experiences thanks to the processors [1]AMD Ryzen 7040 and up to AMD Radeon 780M graphics cards, plus AMD Ryzen AI technologies on select processors, enable the device to keep up with the latest AI demands and more.
The Swift Edge 16 features a 16-inch OLED screen, with a display resolution of 3.2K and an improved refresh rate at 120Hz, and the screen supports the full DCI-P3 color gamut to provide realistic and distinctive colors and images. The computer, which runs on the Windows 11 operating system, complies with the standard [1]Wi-Fi 7, it also comes with the Microsoft Pluton security processor and a host of smart features, allowing users to benefit from a fast and reliable wireless Internet connection and keep their private data safe.

The 16-inch screen provides OLED display experiences with 3.2K (3200 x 2000) resolution, cinema-quality, with a 120Hz refresh rate, full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and a pixel response time of 0.2ms. The screen also features accurate color and high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, with a brightness of up to 500 nits, and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. Users can present themselves in the best light during video calls thanks to a QHD 1440p webcam and Window Studio Effects tools, which enable auto focus, eye correction, and advanced background blur capabilities. The webcam also features Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction and PurifiedVoice technologies with AI noise reduction, ensuring high-quality video calls. The laptop includes a full-size keyboard and a set of basic connectivity ports, including USB Type-A ports, and two USB 4 Type-C ports that support 65W fast charging and connectivity to screens.
