The release of the God of War sequel in 2018 is just around the corner. The developers regularly share epic excerpts from the game and reveal new details about the expected sequel, but that wasn’t enough for the fans. Last story trailer God of War: Ragnarok has been received extremely negatively by users.
Instead of generally rejoicing with references to Scandinavian myths, users started harshly criticizing God of War: Ragnarok. Social media calls the sequel a “$ 70 expansion”. Many were unhappy that the video once again shows the strained relationship between Kratos and his son. Apparently, the main claim about God of War: Ragnarok was the lack of gameplay changes. According to users, the gameplay of the continuation looks exactly the same as in the previous game. Aside from that, God of War: Ragnarok didn’t make any significant visual enhancements, even though the price of the game was high.
Most of the negative comments towards the trailer are mostly related to the modern $ 70 price for the games. Western users, too, at this price point, expect the game to have more noticeable changes in the next generation of consoles.
