Sometimes a simple exhibition match turns into a historic day and that changes everything. And it happened between Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson, two players called to mark an era and who are the big favorites to lead the next draft. The bout had titanic and epic overtones and for many it even reminded Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in the 1979 NCAA final.. Big words for the two stars of the future and a confrontation that has left in the background, in the world of Twitter and journalism, the returns of Zion Williamson and company. Almost nothing.

Wembanyama is a 2.20 center, which has a 2.31 wingspan, weighs 94 pounds (yes, it sounds incredible) and plays for the Metropolitans 92 in Paris. Henderson, for his part, is an explosive point guard who is (also) 18 years old and 1.88 meters tall and plays for the G League Ignite project.. Both gathered in a spectacular meeting, performance, in Las Vegas, in front of a large audience, eager to know the result. And they left no one indifferent with a spectacular explosion of talent that went around the world.
Ignite took the win (122-115) and Henderson put on a spectacular performance, although individually his rival highlighted something else: 37 points with a tremendous 7 out of 11 triples, 4 rebounds and 5 blocks for Wembanyama, something simply spectacular. Henderson, meanwhile, has reached the not insignificant figure of 28 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. The games have been repeated a lot on social networks and the world of the NBA is open-mouthed, impatient to see the future that awaits it. One that promises absolutely great.
