King Charles attended a Commonwealth Day event this week virtually from Westminster Abbey. The monarch gave a speech, at the end of which he also brought up his state of health.

Charles is grateful for the support he has received.

– In recent weeks, I have been deeply moved by your kind and thoughtful messages regarding my health. In return, I can only continue to serve the people to the best of my ability, the king said.

Buckingham Palace announced Charles’ cancer diagnosis in February.

Charles’ changed appearance quickly caught the attention of the citizens. The speech was also published on the official Instagram account of the royal palace.

– The king looks somehow tired.

– He doesn’t seem to be doing very well.

– He looks so tired and his eyes are red!

– He looks sad, get better soon, the comment section of the video says.
