Editorial The mayor of Vilamarxant, Xavier Jorge, and the councilor for Economic Promotion and Commerce, Víctor Sanchis, presented the new shopping mall for local hospitality called ‘Marxant’.
This innovative initiative aims to bring together Vilamarxant’s hotel and restaurant offering, increase the visibility of the sector through social networks and make our restaurant sector known to the rest of the region.
The Gallery will allow the launch of marketing campaigns, promotions or discounts to encourage purchases at the offices that have decided to participate in the portal in this first call. «’Marxant’ will allow us to implement the digitization of the hospitality sector in a simpler, cheaper and more coordinated way. At the moment the Gallery shows the information of the participating venues, its photo gallery and the digital menu ”, explained Víctor Sanchis. “We will soon be implementing online table reservations and orders to be picked up on site. And in the medium term we will continue to evolve the tool up to online payment and home delivery “, added the commissioner.
Representatives of the various restoration companies of Vilamarxant attended the presentation event which was held in the plenary hall of the City Council.
Sanchis also announced that a new tender will be launched shortly to incorporate the rest of Vilamarxant’s hospitality industry gradually and free of charge.
