The motorbike comes out white smoke when heated, maybe a question that often arises in the minds of two-wheeled vehicle users.

White smoke that comes out of a motorcycle exhaust can occur due to several things. But this is most likely because the engine oil burned in the combustion chamber.

Even though normally a 4-stroke two-wheeled vehicle, the oil cannot enter the combustion chamber. Because if this happens, one of the impacts is the appearance of white smoke when heating the vehicle. Of course this will be very disturbing to the health and comfort of the rider.

As a result of the appearance of this white smoke, the engine oil will continue to decrease, so you must always check the engine oil regularly.

Not only that, it also shows wear of the liner / piston ring which can reduce engine power. Finally, the oil that burns can cause excess scale in the combustion chamber. That is why the engine combustion process can be disrupted later.

Some of the things that trigger the motor to come out of white smoke when heated

Until now, there are still some people who do not understand why the exhaust emits smoke when heating the motorbike in the morning.

Generally, today’s motorbikes no longer emit smoke in the exhaust, for example a 4 stroke motorbike. However, if the motorbike emits smoke, it means that several components are damaged.

Heating a vehicle is one of the activities and steps to take care of motorized vehicles. The goal is to make the quality of the engine durable and maintained.

It’s the same when you warm up when you are going to exercise. That way, the motorbike engine will remain excellent when you drive.

However, in some cases, the vehicle will emit white smoke when you try to regulate the gas to the maximum. This is what you need to know the cause, so that the motorbike does not experience damage.

The following is an explanation of the reasons for the motor out of white smoke when heated:

Ring Piston Off

When the motor is emitting white smoke, this could be due to worn piston rings. The shape of the ring is not perfect, so there is still a gap that allows the ring to enter the combustion chamber. The ring itself is divided into 2 components with different functions, namely the compression ring and the oil ring.

The function of the compression ring is to close the gap between the piston and cylinder block so that the compression pressure does not leak. Meanwhile, the oil ring prevents oil from leaving the crankcase to the combustion chamber.

The gap in the two rings allows the ring to enter the combustion chamber. Because the gap in the ring can be enlarged if it is worn. This causes oil to enter the combustion chamber and causes the motor to come out white smoke when heated.

Valve Seal Leaks

The valve serves as a door that is in charge of entering air for engine combustion and exhaust gases from the rest of the engine combustion. Each valve consists of several seals that can prevent oil from leaking into the manifold.

Unfortunately, these seals can experience hardening which decreases their density. As a result, oil can easily enter the manifold and into the engine. This is certainly one of the causes of the motorbike to come out white smoke when heated, which must be treated immediately.

Bend Valve Stems

The valve stem is made of iron with the function of connecting the valve chart and the cam part. The valve section must be completely straight 100% without bending. If it is bent, the position automatically cannot be centered.

The valve hole that has a seal is set centrally in the intake hole. So that if the rod is bent, one side of the seal will be pressed and loosened.

This looseness will allow the oil to enter the manifold associated with the combustion chamber. This is what ultimately causes the motor to come out white smoke when heated.

Improper valve installation

Almost the same as the error above, the difference in this case is only in the incorrect installation of the valve which causes the valve to become blocked.

In this system, even though both are intake valves, the position of the two valves must not be interchanged. If the position is switched, it will potentially leak because the valve seat and valve leaf do not match. This leak has the potential to cause the motor to come out white smoke when heated.
