Workers have been working on the bypass since last March, they did not slip until this year due to the epidemiological situation. The rainy weather didn’t help either. “At first glance, it is clear that the construction is under control,” said Martin Kukla, Deputy Governor for the Economy.
The new section will cost eight hundred million, which makes it the most expensive road construction in the history of the Vysočina Region. It will have more than four kilometers, there are five bridges on it and there is also a re-wall or noise walls. The bypass will speed up the connection of Jihlava with the D1 motorway, in addition to which it will also take transit traffic from Velký Beranov. Mayor Milan Pulicar praises cooperation with the region and construction companies.
