A team of paleontologists has carried out the major revision in almost 100 years of fossil vertebrates found in the rock formations of southeastern Morocco, an area that has been characterized by preserving the remains of fierce predators that inhabited the planet. The study results were recently published in the journal Zookeys.
“This was possibly the most dangerous place in Earth’s history, a place where a human time traveler wouldn’t last long“stated the study’s lead author, Nizar Ibrahim, through a release.

Also, the remains of several predatory flying reptiles and hunters similar to crocodiles were found. In addition, the diet of many of them depended on fish, and experts claim that the area was full of huge fish.
