Ay omá! is the title of the vindictive video clip in which The Morancos version of Rigoberta Bandini’s Eurovision theme to criticize the desperate situation that many citizens live in to access a primary care appointment of the Andalusian Social Security. With lyrics by themselves and by Sevillian carnival artist Lolo Seda, the humorous duo formed by Jorge and César Cadaval appear characterized as the ‘omaíta’ and her daughter in a health center, where a queue is represented and the impossibility of being attended to, despite attempts to make a phone appointment.
During it they make reference to the fact that they have paid contributions all their lives, that it is scary to go to the health center, while they pronounce the catchy stanza of “omá, omá, omá, you die on the sofa”. Among others of great hardness such as “it doesn’t matter if you’re a child or a grandmother, your dignity will be trampled by the system, politicians will be stripped of your life”. To put an end and say “Listen to me… we only have to suck, suck, suck”, they conclude not without first thank and show all your support for the toilets.
