The Ministry of Social Policy is preparing the necessary infrastructure for the introduction of a mandatory accumulation level of the pension system – Government Courier

The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Oksana Zholnovich, answered a question about the introduction of the accumulative pension system on the air of the national telethon “Edyny Novyny”. It is reported Government portal.

The minister noted that there is a demand in society for the implementation of a full-fledged three-level pension system, since the accumulation level will allow citizens to independently control their contributions. At the same time, the implementation of the reform is possible only after the victory in the war.

Currently, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered for consideration a draft law on the introduction of the accumulative level of the pension system.

“We are working on the development of the necessary infrastructure for the full launch of the mandatory accumulative level of pension provision. In particular, it is necessary to create a State Savings Fund, to ensure the functioning of the digital system of collection and administration. These developments will contribute to the quality implementation of changes,” Oksana Zholnovich explained.
