The Ministry of Labor and Employment, together with the INYM, carried out inspections in the yerba plantations of Jardín América and General Urquiza, focused on the control of working conditions, safety and hygiene measures, and training.
In the operation they verified that the rural workers did not have adequate work clothes and carried out their tasks in insufficient conditions, as well as the lack of registration to carry out work in the task.
Likewise, working conditions did not meet the minimum standards established in the Agrarian Labor Law 26,727. For this reason, the inspectors drew up the corresponding minutes.
