Sevilla has set a price of 9,999 euros ($10,900) per ticket for the seats available to the general public in the Gol Norte and Gol Sur locations for this Thursday’s Europa League match against West Ham United, declared high risk, in order to avoid the mixing of fans for reasons of security.

Sevilla has provided 2,500 seats to the London team for its fans, around 5% of the capacity according to UEFA regulations, for this first leg of the Europa League round of 16, but has established that exorbitant price for both goals (funds in other stadiums), as reflected in the ticket section of your web.

With this measure, and although the Sevilla club has not specified the reasons, it is intended to prevent West Ham supporters from accessing these areas of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium in anticipation that a large number of them may travel to Seville without a ticket. and acquire them for said sectors.

The seats reserved for English fans are located, as is the norm, in a corner between Gol Sur and Fondo delimited especially for the visiting fans, although the followers of this London team can, for the time being, buy seats at usual prices for the Background and Preference stands.

Although these prices appear on its website, Sevilla also specifies, in a statement on the promotion of buying tickets at half price by its members exclusively, that “the sale (of locations) or access of the English fans of Gol Norte or Gol Sur”.

In addition, it specifies that “the sale of tickets in the lower tier of Gol Norte will be made only by taking advantage of the promotion of partners”.
