New York is obviously not ready to forget Andrea Pirlo. The mayor of the city decided to pay tribute to the newly retired.
Andrea Pirlo has retired and played his last football scores with the New York City shirt. But he visibly marked the entire city given the gesture made by the mayor, Bill De Blasio.

On his Instagram account, Pirlo was very proud of this honour. “I couldn’t be more honored and proud to be a part of this day of celebration. New York is not only this great city that I have decided to retire to, it is also a city where people work hard every day to achieve their goals. I couldn’t be more proud to inspire these young New Yorkers and show them that everyone deserves to have their dreams come true.”he said.
