Among the signatories of the forum, we also find Martine Aubry (PS, Lille), Emmanuel Denis (EELV, Tours), Anne Hidalgo (PS, Paris), Léonore Moncond’huy (EELV, Poitiers), Benoît Payan (PS, Marseille ), Johanna Rolland (PS, Nantes), Cédric Van Styvendael (PS, Villeurbanne) and Anne Vignot (EELV, Besançon). The city officials speak of a “new positive horizon“to guarantee employment.
The building, agroecology and circular economy sectors are particularly targeted. The nine mayors describe a current economy crossed by two principles which cannot coexist: on the one hand, the urgency of “decarbonize the economy“and on the other”millions of French people who want to work“. The forum ends with a call to”invent a social ecology that meets the concrete needs of the French and the regions.”
