First, the Moder-Tsarevets breakthrough must be completed, and then the concrete bridge must be demolished. This is the categorical opinion of the mayor Zdravko Dimitrov on the occasion of NKJI’s idea to remove the facility in April next year, a reporter said Plovdiv24.bg.
“Some are chasing deadlines, but I have to think about the people of Plovdiv. There is no way to leave Yuzhen without transportation, I can’t afford that,” Dimitrov said.
We recall that in a meeting with the company, NKŽI declared its readiness to remove the concrete bridge in the I phase of the project for the tunnel under the central station. The new bridge structure must be 70-80 centimeters higher so that electric trains can pass safely without knocking down the pantographs. And at the moment it is not clear where the money for its construction will go.
“There are companies that appeal everything. They probably also appeal their birth certificate. There is a company that appeals everything and the orders are late,” Dimitrov added. He cited as an example the procedure for the restructuring of the Humanitarian High School, in which many construction companies are taking an interest, as well as the construction of the swimming pool, whose construction for 10 million is now 20 million.
