The viewing figures of Friday, December 10, 2021 (SHOE) – The Masked Singer had another big surprise in store yesterday. A very famous name came out of the bull’s suit.
Attention, this post contains spoilers – The Masked Singer, the biggest viewing hit of RTL 4 – even bigger than The Voice, had a special surprise in store for the viewer yesterday. None other than Edwin Evers, the country’s most famous radio DJ, came out of the pack. And Nicolette Kluijver came out of the piglet suit.
Another new record
The viewer enjoyed it massively, because The Masked Singer was once again the big winner of the evening. This time, 2.6 million viewers (40 percent market share) watched the hysterical singing show, setting a new season record. Last week the score was 12,000 viewers lower.
The most-watched episode of The Masked Singer ever remains the last season’s finale. Last year no less than 3.9 million people watched it, a mega score.
Bed & Breakfast op #2
The most viewed alternative to RTL 4 entertainment was the NPO 1 program Bed & Breakfast with 1.1 million viewers (17 percent). Immediately afterwards, the drama series BuZa attracted 768,000 viewers (13 percent).
The other most watched prime-time programs were Twee voor Twelf (Two for Twelve) with 1.1 million viewers (16 percent) on NPO 2 and Veronica Inside with 482,000 viewers (7 percent) on Veronica. Strangely enough, in Veronica Inside, in contrast to the radio variant, there was not a word about Marco Borsato.
Important daily titles that did not make the top 15 were Hart van Nederland (554,000), Shownieuws (381,000) and HLF8 (267,000).
