The Super Mario Bros. Movie turned out to be a huge cinema success in spring 2023 and can currently be streamed in Germany on WOW and Amazon Prime, among others. The film magazine Deadline now wants to find out about the Netflix release of the colorful plumber flick.

Netflix streaming of Mario Bros. also in Germany? The date given by Deadline refers to the USA. It is still unclear whether December 3, 2023 also applies to the German market. This is what the film adaptation is about: In the Super Mario film, the mustachioed plumber and his brother Luigi accidentally end up in the Mushroom Kingdom. However, Luigi is captured by the villain Bowser and now it’s up to Mario to free his beloved brother. He is supported by Princess Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong, among others.

By the way, Nintendo announced a live action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda earlier this week. So there will soon be a movie about Link, Ganon, Zelda and Co. with real actresses. There is no information about the start of the strip or when it will start.
