The Maison de la Radio will host a series of exceptional duos

This April 7, Fipl’Adami and the Disquaire Day are organizing a new Unik session at the Maison de la Radio, in partnership with Tsugi. Artists from all walks of the French-speaking scene will thus join forces for a series of new and exciting duets.

It’s the encounters that make you grow. And that goes for artists too. It is from this principle that the Unik sessions were born in 2015. Organized by Fip, in collaboration with the Adami (society for the rights of performers) and the Disquaire Day, they aim to organize original duets. The idea: two artists, with different but complementary universes, combine their styles on two tracks, recorded under live conditions, which are then released for Record Store Day. Three new meetings are thus to come for 2022: that between the Loosers Club and The Empress (coming April 23), between Alain Chamfort and Arthur Teboul (singer of Fire! Chatterton), and finally between Leonie Pernet and Email Mathlouthiboth released on June 18.

In addition to these records, Fip is also organizing a live show with an impressive line-up this April 7, at 8:30 p.m. at the Maison de la Radio. The artists invited this year (with the exception of L’Impératrice, which is currently on its American tour) meet those of previous editions. New duos will form throughout the evening. In addition to the duos Emel / Léonie Pernet and Chamfort / Teboul, we will also see the latter alongside the saxophonist Laurent Bardainne and the rapper JP Manova. The rock singer Emily Loizeau cruisera la folk de Keren AnnEmel will return this time alongside Yael Naimwhile Bardainne will accompany Fuzati from Klub des Losers. Fred Pallem and the Rite of the Tympanummeanwhile, will act as a red thread, accompanying each of the artists.

To follow this rich program live, the show at studio 104 of the Maison de la Radio is unfortunately already sold out. But it will be live on Fip this Thursday, April 7 at 8:30 p.m., and will then be available as a podcast. It’s impossible to miss.
