The “Madara” group releases a single dedicated to the Winter Solstice

The group “Madara” released its third single “There will be peace”, composed by cellist and singer Madara Fogelmane, cellist Erna Daugaviete and double bass player Undine Adele Berg.

The music and lyrics of the song “There will be peace” are written by Madara Fogelman. It was made in collaboration with “White Wide Production” studio producer Jānis Narbutas, as well as percussionist and producer Sigvardas Dižo.

Dedicated to the peaceful Winter Solstice, the single of the “Madara” group tells about the arrangement of one’s inner world and the mutual unity of people. “You can feel the emotions of peace and joy in the melody and lyrics of the song,” Madara says. “If we live among people who listen to each other, the pain will disappear and the world will truly be at peace. With this song, we also invite you to stop and enjoy the moment, the fact that each of us can simply be, because each being has a meaning in this world.”

Currently, the group is creating a new concert program, which will include colorfully rearranged songs composed by Madara Fogelmanes over the course of several years. It should be noted that she only uses texts created by herself, which talk about topics that are important to everyone, related to the world of people, nature, spirituality and feelings. “The sound of the group is unique, because this is the only female group, at least in Latvia, whose music uses only stringed instruments and vocals, sometimes adding rhythmic instruments,” emphasizes the group’s PR camp.
