The Luxurious Childhood of Prince Louis: Gifts, School, and Vacation Costs Revealed

Although the little British prince Louis is only five years old, he has managed to win the hearts of millions of subjects – Louis is like a cute jokester among other representatives of the royal house. The charming boy also has a luxurious childhood of the rich, writes “The Sun”, which has calculated the boy’s basket of benefits. Little Prince Louis is the third, youngest, child of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Like the other children, he too was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, in the so-called Lindo wing, where a luxury ward at that time cost around 7,000 British pounds. Having been born in such circumstances, only the best has happened to Louis in later life as well. So, for example, at the child’s christening in 2018, his uncle Prince Harry gave the boy an exclusive item – the original “Winnie the Pooh” book, published in 1926. Its value is about 10 thousand dollars and it was also touched by Princess Diana. As “The Sun” writes, Harry wanted to give his nephew a gift that he himself has warm memories of, and the two brothers’ fondest memories are of the evenings when their mother read to them. The “Winnie the Pooh” book was supposed to start the collection of treasures in the little prince’s library, so that he would appreciate their value as he grew up.

Luis also received expensive and exclusive gifts from others. American tennis legend Stan Smith gave the little prince a pair of adidas sneakers with his autograph, “For Louis”, on his one-year birthday. But in April of this year, when the prince celebrated his fifth birthday, Princess of Wales Catherine had organized an impressive themed party for her darling, to which all of Louis’ preschool classmates were invited. Where does the little prince study and how much does this pleasure cost? He attends Lambbrook School in Berkshire, where tuition is over $58,000. Each semester costs 5,500 dollars, for which you receive a higher education. Extracurricular activities also play an important role in this institution – children learn to play chess, golf, scuba dive, learn beekeeping and even the basics of composing songs and podcasting skills. The school has a huge swimming pool and any class can be attended even on Saturdays. “The Sun” notes that it is a proper school for kings and queens. A total of 620 students are registered at the school, and the royal children are among them.

There is a possibility that Prince Louis will become king one day. He is fourth in line to the throne – ahead of his father William (41), brother George (10) and sister Charlotte (8). King Charles has a very good relationship with little Louis. Photo: Vida Press

Louis has been dressed royally since childhood, of course. The British press notes that he has a lot of designer clothes in his closet. Being a sporty kid, Louis mostly wears luxury creations. By age, the boy is still in the “shorts” stage, meaning that an old tradition dictates that what a boy wears on his legs reflects his status in the royal house. The boys of the royal house never wear long pants, only shorts, because long pants are typical for middle-class and “suburban” boys.

What about holidays? They are, and in Luis’s case, one vacation for a week costs him 35 thousand dollars. The family usually goes to a very fine and discreet five-star resort in the Caribbean. There is a private beach where the paparazzi can’t get to that easily. Instead of a luxury residence, a whole staff works for them, including a chef and a housekeeper. Princess Margaret and Mick Jagger have also rested in this “tropical oasis”. But during the winter holidays, Louis usually goes to a fine ski resort in France with his family. The costs there are similar to Caribbean holidays. Photo: Vida Press

Finally – where does the little prince grow up and spend his days? The family recently moved from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. It is a 19th century building with four large bedrooms and a large garden around the house. The building was completely renovated in 2015, the interior has a lot of marble and even a ceiling covered with gilded dolphins. The Royal House has not yet allowed a look directly into Louis’s room.
