The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria zapowiedziane

In the course of today Epic Games presentation – on the occasion of the ongoing event Summer Game Fest – announced a game focused on co-op survival The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria from the studio Free Range Games. Its action is set in the fourth era of the universe created by JRR Tolkien (after the events of Lord of the Rings). Title will debut on PCs next spring and will be available exclusively in the Epic Games store for premiere.

On page sklepu Epic Games highlighted what will be our main focus in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria:

Summoned to the Misty Mountains by lorda Gimliego Lockbearera, players take control of a group of dwarves who are to venture underground to retrieve the treasure from the city of Moria (…). During the mission, the dwarves will have to show persistence while traversing the depths of the mine (…).

As the campaign progresses we will gradually restore Moria to its former glory by, for example, lighting up long extinct forges. The city is supposed to be procedurally generatedtherefore, we are unlikely to complain about the redundancy of the location.

Players will focus mainly on mining valuable ores (e.g. gold or mithril)to create and enchant better tools and other equipment. However, if they are too loud, they can awaken the monsters lurking in the depths of Moria, with which they will have to face.
