The president of the local Lions club, Gérard Roman specified that 165 boxes of chocolates were offered by the club for the nursing home and the hospital. Taking stock of the actions of the Lions club in 2020, alas reduced by the current circumstances, Gérard Roman indicated: “The profits made during the tapas concert on March 7 and the garage sale on September 14 enabled the Lions team to send a donation of € 500 to the association against cystic fibrosis and € 2,000 to the Foundation of ‘helping children with cancer “.

Jérôme Rumeau, on behalf of the residents and staff, praised this gift of the heart which provides the elderly with appreciated support in these times when they are deprived of outings. He announced that for the end of year celebrations, the possibilities for visits were extended while maintaining the security measures imposed.
