Spanish footballer Iago Aspas has extended his contract with Celta Vigo until June 30, 2025. The thirty-five-year-old striker is an icon of the Galician club. He played 418 games for Celta, scoring 184 goals and adding 63 assists.
He won the Zarro trophy for the best Spanish scorer in La Liga four times. In the last year of the highest Spanish competition, he scored 18 accurate hits. In 2017, he advanced with Celta to the semi-finals of the UEFA European League. In 2018, he started in the jersey of the Spanish national team at the World Cup in Russia.
