A new phase of Leader funding will begin next year. This was underlined by the association for regional development at the top of the Volme. Invite all interested parties to the 21st September Kick Off Celebration Event in Herscheid to get in the mood and provide insight into future funding opportunities.

Volmetal – Until 2029, the municipalities of Herscheid, Meinerzhagen, Kierspe, Halver and Schalksmühle will once again have the opportunity to “implement exciting projects and thus help promote development for the entire region”, as the invitation states. Funding of approximately € 2.3 million is available. Cooperation between administrations, regional management, clubs, organizations and the economy at the top of the Volme is mentioned as one of the success factors of the first funding period. To prepare for a new beginning, the association invites you to the inaugural event on Wednesday 21 September from 19:00 at the Rahlenberg Education Center, Bergstraße 7, in Herscheid. All citizens interested in regional development and the possibilities of the funding program are invited, especially volunteers, representatives of clubs and organizations for which project funding may be of interest.

According to the association, objectives and topics for the coming years, the framework for possible project funding and possible cooperation will be discussed that evening. After the information and discussion, there will also be the opportunity for personal conversations with music, snacks and drinks.

Further information, including the range of projects funded to date, can be found at leben.oben-an-der-volme.de. We kindly ask you to register by Wednesday 14 September, by e-mail to [email protected] or by calling the regional management on Tel. 0 23 59/66 14 44.
