The Latvian team takes the 18th place in the world orienteering championship in sprint relay

The victory was won by the Swedish team, which finished in 58 minutes and 39 seconds. Great Britain took the second place, but Norway finished in the top three.

33 units started in the team relay, but 26 of them reached the finish.

The World Cup in Denmark was scheduled for the summer of 2020, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Latvia is represented at the World Championship by Jubelis, Titomers, Sirmā, Grosberga, Jānis Tamužs and Anna Eleonora Freimane.

The championship started with a sprint relay, followed by a day off. The elimination sprint qualifiers and finals will be held on Tuesday, while the classic individual sprint with qualifiers and finals will take place on Thursday.
