The latest update has affected the operation of the Mi 9T in its global, European and Russian version.
Xiaomi finally released its latest MIUI 12 update in July, something that its users have been waiting for for a long time, and although the new software is already available for the different models of the Chinese brand, there is one in particular that has presented problems.
This is the Xiaomi Mi 9T. This device has shown a terrible relationship with the new version of MIUI 12, since shortly after it was able to update on the device, the moderators of the Xiaomi community forum reported failures of the Mi 9T in its global, European and Russian versions.
Battery failures
One of the problems that several users have complained about according to the portal Mobile Zone it’s the battery. The reports said that while in MIUI 11 it barely consumed 10% of the energy, with the MIUI 12 version it easily takes 25%.
The solution for this problem is by using Xiaomi’s security tool to optimize the system, restrict the handling of applications in the background and disable the digital well-being tools. With this the problem does not disappear completely but it does reduce the failure at least.
Camera failures
There are other users who filed complaints, but this time not because of bigotry but because of the camera. The problem is that there is a blue and red lighting when using the camera. Xiaomi is expected to release a new patch that will end the problem since unlike the failure with the battery, in this case there is no method that at least reduces the problem a bit.
