16 junior teams of the U11 entered the race for the ticket. What was new was that the qualifying tournament took place outside. The Eurocup itself, which will take place from February 4 to 6, 2022, will take place entirely in the sports hall of the Rosa Parks School. The defending champion is FC Utrecht, the youngsters from the Bundesliga come from Bayern Munich, VfL Bochum, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

Although Hessen Kassel had canceled in the run-up to the qualifying tournament, the Belgians from KFC Turnhout were there. They finished third in the preliminary round, thus reaching the final round of the top eight. In the end, it was not enough for the ticket to be fourth.

Spvgg. Oberrad makes the race

The outstanding team at the tournament was Spvgg. Oberrad, who cooperate with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. On the first day, the young Hessians won all games (30: 5 goals). And on the second day, five wins and two draws were enough to qualify. “The level of the tournament was extremely high and the winner is rightly called Spvgg. Frankfurt-Oberrad”, says organizer Bastian Pröpper.

There was nothing in it for the hosts themselves. The Langenbochum team finished the first day with zero points. On the second day there were at least two success stories: a 2: 2 against Rumelner TV and at the end a 2: 1 against SV Olympia Laxten.
