/ world today news/ On January 3 and 4, the command of the Southern Military Zone of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) organized routine air and sea patrols in the South China Sea.
Units in the area remain on high alert at all times to protect the country’s sovereignty and maritime interests and rights. Any military activity disturbing the peace in the South China Sea and creating a point of tension is under control, the Southern Military Zone Command said in a statement.
