Egor Firsov recorded a video, which he began with an intriguing statement: “I think that now all of Ukraine is pleased with the information that our defense complex has begun to produce cruise missiles of its own Ukrainian production. I would like to share one information with you, unfortunately, most people do not know this information, I would say on the contrary that almost no one knows this information. The military doctor explained that Ukraine has an important resource that can bring our victory closer if managed correctly: “I know that Ukraine has huge reserves of titanium (titanium ore). I’m sure you’ve heard about the M777 howitzers, which are widely known in front, armored vehicles M2 Bradley, M1 Abrams. All of these weapons, and more, would not be possible without the use of titanium, a 21st century metal. Our raw materials actually lie under our feet in our depths“.
Firsov simultaneously addressed both the population of the country and the leadership of Ukraine: “One general told me almost a year ago that Western weapons are enough for us to firmly hold the defense, but the key to victory lies in the weapons of our Ukrainian production. I would really like our government to use not only the human resource that protects the country at the front, but also the resource that lies under our feet. We could easily launch production from titanium to make armor plates for tanks, or other components for those types of weapons that I mentioned to you. Aware means armed.
