The Jordanian Artists Association, led by Hussein Al-Khatib, submitted a request to Salama Hammad Al-Akram, the Jordanian Minister of Interior, to prevent Egyptian festival festivals from holding concerts on the territory of the Kingdom.

According to the request made by the union, it was decided to prevent: “Hamou Bika, Majdi Shata, Hassan Shakoush, Hanajar, Coriander, Onion, Wazza, Al-Zaeem, Rocket, Sprites, Mataria, Diesel, Gang, Amr Haha, Alaa Fifti, Shwaha, High Heels, Apollila, Andrew El Hawi, and Omar Kamal. “

In its request, the union clarified that the songs of festival singers contradict the values, morals, and general culture of society, as well as known musical standards.

She pointed out that this decision is in line with the decision of the Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt, led by artist Hani Shaker.

The Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt had issued a decision to prevent 23 festivals who mentioned their name and others they did not mention, from holding concerts and singing in Egypt.
