The JCI declined, these stocks were the most foreign-traded in session I

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the red in today’s trading. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI was depressed by 21,258 points or -0.32% to a level of 6,629,796 in the first trading session, Monday (15/11).

JCI was depressed by a decline in eight sectors from a total of 11 sectors on the IDX. The sectors that fell the most were the energy sector -2.14%, the infrastructure sector -1.13%, the primary consumer goods sector -0.89%, the industrial sector -0.86%, the property and real estate sector -0.81% , raw goods sector -0.17%, non-primary consumer goods sector -0.08% and financial sector -0.03%.

Meanwhile, the sectors that strengthened were the technology sector at 1.19%, the health sector at 0.24% and the transportation sector at 0.10%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX this afternoon reached 14.05 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 6.86 trillion. There were 364 stocks that fell, 158 stocks that rose and 148 stocks that were stagnant.

Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 232 billion in all markets. However, foreigners are also recorded to have collected a number of these shares.

Foreigners recorded the largest net buy in shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) of Rp. 35.4 billion. BBCA shares closed up 0.66% to Rp 7,575 per share this afternoon. The total trading volume of BBCA shares reached 28.94 million with a total transaction value of Rp 219.5 billion.

Shares of PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) were also bought up by foreigners amounting to Rp 28.7 billion. INKP shares rose 2.64% this afternoon to Rp 8,750 per share. The total trading volume of INKP shares reached 8.2 million with a total transaction value of Rp 72.7 billion.

Foreign investors also collect a lot of shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) of Rp. 15.9 billion. MNCN shares rose 4.71% to Rp 1,000 per share. The total trading volume of MNCN shares reached 75.91 million with a total transaction value of Rp 74.9 billion.
