The Japanese have been putting salt in the toilet since ancient times. It is surprising that the Czechs have not yet figured this out

Everyone wants to have a clean and disinfected bathroom. Are you spending considerable sums on chemical toilet cleaners and still not satisfied? A much simpler solution is offered. Regular table salt will help keep your bathroom clean. Furthermore, it also acts on limestone.

How about that?

Prepare 250 g of salt and 1.5 l of hot water. Stir in the salt and wait until it dissolves completely. Finally, pour it down the toilet. Salt can absorb odors and disinfect the toilet at the same time. For maximum effect, repeat this procedure several times in a row. You will greatly reduce the strong smell of the toilet if you apply the salt every day for at least a week at a time. Once or twice a month is enough for maintenance.

Coarse salt with vinegar for deposits

Even deposits that cannot be removed easily can be removed relatively easily. In this case, replace the table salt with coarse salt. Pour the salt into the bowl and cover it with the slightly warmed vinegar. Let the slightly damp salt sit, then apply to the deposits. Leave on for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight. Then the deposits can be easily removed and you can clean the toilet with a brush and rinse with water. Coarse salt is also a great way to get rid of clogged waste.

Keep your brush clean

You use the brush daily, especially if there are more of you at home. You need to make sure that it is usable and has no smell. There’s a simple trick to this. Pour water with salt and citric acid into the container where the brush is. Thanks to this, the brush will be perfectly disinfected and will not smell.

Salt whitens the toilet

Thanks to natural products, you can easily whiten the toilet. Just pour coarse salt into the toilet, leave it for a while and scrub it with a brush.

The vinegar will also help clean the toilet

If you don’t have enough salt, you can also use vinegar. Simply bring 1 liter of vinegar to a boil, add a tablespoon of baking soda, pour it into a bowl and leave it for a while. Finally, clean the bathroom and you’re done.
