Six hundred requests from all over France were processed for these selections. They are about forty Amandinois and Amandinoises grouped for the first selections.
In a few hours, they link up the sports, agility and endurance events. And when some participants are exhausted, the competitors are there to encourage.
“A human adventure”
Djamel, a municipal employee, has already participated in several seasons. He keeps memories “unforgettable”. “It is the group effect, celebration, living together and solidarity”, he lists. He says he is ready to relive the adventure. Especially since the city is putting its title at stake.
A sentiment shared by Philippe Crombez: “It is above all a human adventure, we find virtues that it is difficult to find in sport: we do not know each other, but we feel a mayonnaise that takes, everyone is happy and it is pure happiness. “
If he does not take part in the tests of this 2020 edition, this former participant is one of the organizers of the selection and the trip.
Pending shooting dates
Unlike previous editions, the filming will not take place in the cities in smooth, but in Eurodisney, in Île de France. The tests, scheduled for April, are postponed as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus.
