OAXACA, Oax. November 23, 2021.- The delegate of the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers, Juan Jacobo Pérez Miranda, presented the new Infonavit Account + Bank Credit scheme.
In a virtual press conference, he said that this new scheme will benefit non-active workers who want to buy a home.
He explained that with the purpose of improving profits, this Infonavit + Bank Credit Account was created in conjunction with the Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM).
This loan, he mentioned, is aimed at non-active workers, once they have contributed to the institute they will be able to use their savings as a down payment for a mortgage by a banking institution.
He stressed that the way to obtain a loan is through the bank, which will be in charge of profiling the borrower and will determine the amount of the mortgage.
Of this loan, Infonavit will participate with 30% and the rest will be through a banking institution, he said.
The official added that to start the process, the right holder will present the Infonavit Account Certificate + Bank Credit to the bank, a document that can be downloaded from the My Infonavit Account portal.
