Minister of Culture Muhammad Al-Murtada affirmed, on social media, “adherence to the values of freedom and openness to modernity, but with steadfastness in values and awareness of what is being plotted against the interest of the Lebanese, who will not allow a misleading group to wreak havoc in their community.”
He stated, “The Lebanese are pioneers of openness, always yearning for modernity, and freedom runs in their blood. However, the Lebanese are steadfast in their values, proud of their heritage and aware of what is being hatched for them, and will not allow a misguided or hired group of perverted horizons and souls to wreak havoc in our society.”
